LotHub policy
Buyer Safety Guide
Treat every online listing as a starting point for due diligence—not proof that a transaction is safe.
Verify before paying
Inspect the actual property. Confirm the identity and authority of the seller. Independently verify the title, tax declaration, boundaries, liens, access, zoning, and unpaid obligations.
Professional credentials
Confirm broker or salesperson credentials through appropriate government sources. For projects where applicable, verify the DHSUD Certificate of Registration and License to Sell.
Payments
Do not send reservation fees or deposits based only on messages, urgency, screenshots, or a verification badge. Use written agreements and qualified legal or real-estate professionals.
Report concerns
Use Report listing for suspected scams, duplicates, misleading information, unsafe payment requests, or properties that are no longer available.
